Die Jawa California entstand aus der
361 Sport und wurde als sportliches Motorrad vorallen
im westlichen Ausland (wie USA,Holland und Westdeutschland)von 1966 bis 1970 verkauft. Dabei gibt es verschiedene Versionen
mit unterschiedliche Kotflügel und Motoren .
Bei uns Jawafreunden gibt es wohl momentan 3oder 4 Californias,
davon sind aber momentan nur 2 fahrbereit .
